Aboriginal Paintings

Australian Aboriginal art consists of mostly dots and strokes . Most Aboriginal paintings have a story behind them.  Often, Aboriginal people use their family totem or tribe emblem in their paintings.  All tribes paint a little bit differently.  Aboriginal people use symbols to represent thing they paint such as :
People sitting

Rain

They paint on rocks and boulders this was because they had no paper or canvas 40,000 years ago so they used nature.  Aboriginal art is like a written language to Aboriginal people.
Australian art is the most well known indigenous art in the world and Aboriginal art is one of them .
The main colours used in Aboriginal art are yellow, orange, brown and red .
